You're reading Music's modern era has been led by African American Culture. Rag-time, jazz, rock, R&B all mainstreemed, & was accepted. Rap/Hip Hop are so culture mandated, yet so many whites grab & talk it, though obviously not theirs nor could truly understand, why?
Comments
Yes. I have myself reiterated your points in my other comments at many places here. Your points are noted, and remember though the key words are adapted, and influanced by, in those art forms that were truly CREATED by the African American Cultures.
I guess your synopsis can be understood, kinda like SONY, in that they cant take credit for inventing the T.V. especially when one's starting point comes from something already invented. Mind you, it's still a great product, and has it's great merits to the history of product, and just as those that followed the genere's outlined in my question, they can't take credit for it being around. Thanks, and peace!
