Question

Help answer this question below.

I live in the U.S. and I see deer all the time, but I would love to see a kangaroo, since I never have (they're kinda rare around here haha). Does anyone in Australia feel the opposite?

We have deer in Australia too. Kangaroos are nice, but not if you're a farmer and they are stipping your paddocks bare. Apparently the males are quite aggressive during mating season and will attack a human with little provocation. We have reserves and zoos where you can touch them, but of course these animals are quite used to the interaction and I would assume that aggressive animals would be weeded out. We have wild deer in the wilderness areas, but mostly they are in zoos or deer farms.
