Are you sure? The radio and fuse is a long way from the alternator. Was the vehicle sitting for a long time before you got it fixed? Is it possible someone tried to steal the radio? Did you attempt to jump start the vehicle and hook up the cables backwards? Believe it or not, most mechanics are not out to screw you.
