  • Heer are some ways -
    1. Obey the traffic laws and signals. This includes the speed limit.
    2. Leave plenty of distance between you and the car ahead of you.
    3. Remove distractions like cell phones, eating and drinking, and smoking while driving. Studies show that doing these while driving increase the rate of accidents.
    4. Wear your seat belt.
    5. Keep your car properly maintained, to avoid mechanical problems and/or blowouts, or other emergencies.

    • If you are in an accident, and you are wearing your seat belt, you are in a much better position to retain control of your car and avoid hitting other cars and/or people, causing additional accidents.

    • good point.
