Normally, when a male cat is fixed, his scent glands are removed. My cat is fixed. He still thinks he can spray (He does a very funny spray dance) but there is nothing there.

    • Our female that is 15 yrs. old does that funny little dance, I think it's cute.... but our 6 year old male that was fixed when he was just a kitten is spraying the outside yard and also inside the house. I have tried everything I know how to.... I don't know what to do anymore. It's making me start to despise him but he's is so loving and has the best personality the boys just love him to death./....he loves me so much and I am trying not to let him know that I just don'y love him back!!! When he sprays I rub his face all over in it and tell him " NO SPRAY" and throw him outside while he cleans it off.... but then he wants back inside and still wants on my lap~ I love him but not when he sprays! I don't know what to do!!!!

I have read all of the suggestions from many sites and nothing fits my particular situation. If anyone has an idea that might help my email is areoletrattner@yahoo.com and the advice would be so appreciated!
