Help answer this question below.
On my 1993 Ford 3.8 engine I have an oil light that stays on all the time. One answer was just twist the wires together and the light would go out. My problem is I only have one wire going into the sensor.I removed the sensor and cleaned out the old pigtail that was all chewed up and rotted. There was a center pin in the sensor and I used an allagator clip on the center pin and the sensor wire but nothing The light is still is on. Any more ideas? Thanks Guys

You're reading I have a 1993 Ford Taurus. On the bottom of the oil pan there is a drain plug and above the drain plug is a sensor or some kind The wire broke off and now the oil light stays on. Could this be the problem why the light is on all the time?
