Help answer this question below.

I have a 1993 Ford Taurus. On the bottom of the oil pan there is a drain plug and above the drain plug is a sensor or some kind The wire broke off and now the oil light stays on. Could this be the problem why the light is on all the time?

    The sensor is probably for the Oil level. The light is on because the computer thinks you don't have enough oil. Just splice the wires together and your light should go out.
