that would probably be your battery connection. connect it to a hot (charged) wire when the car is turned off and the key is turned off also.

I own a 1200 class D jvc arsenal amp, will it power up 3 12' hifonics? Each subwoofer has an rms of 300 and peak power of 600, help anyone

I have 2 12" subs in my trunk and two 6x9 alpine speakers in the back. Whenever I turn my balance to the left, my subs don't play.

You're reading I put a new radio in my car and there were 4 wires on one harness red yellow brown and purple. what could the purple be the only thing i notice about it is that the memory is whipped clear every time i turn the car off

does that mean to connect the wire to the red wire for the radio and if so how do i know thats right with out harming anything.

get a cheap voltage meter anywhere but wal-mart , make sure its made in the u.s.a. and find a hot wire when the key is not in the ignition. this way you know the wire has power when the acc. switch is not turned on. this will keep your radios memory
