Women who do an 8 hr job rarely cook on weekdays
by Masculinist on July 12th, 2008
I beg to differ with you on that. But it must be nice for them
by Lord Knows on July 12th, 2008
Yes, must be quite nice for them LOL. My man gets a packed lunch and a hot dinner every night of the week. Except maybe saturday if we are going somewhere. Dont forget all the cleaning! ;) I am convinced that it is endless....
by BeccaBaby on July 12th, 2008
It is endless - We wake up possibly bumping into them in the bathroom and around the coffee pot to start our day - work our 8 plus hours - come home to start working again. If it isn't taking the kids someplace it's starting laundry or cleaning the house. I won't leave out cooking because the kids gotta eat too. ;)

I miss the good old days of the man providing for the family and the woman being a mother and wife. Which in my mind is a vary challenging job and deserves a ton of respect but most look down at home makers in our society now.

Don't be too sure about that, LF. It seems to me that the great majority of people in America are pretty traditional in their approach to male/female relations.

Really? Hahah guess I need to date around here a little more.

what happens if the guy becomes a real bastard, what would the house wife do? if all she can do is cook...
by little_miss_sunshine on June 21st, 2009
And thereby, folks, lies the conundrum. I don't have any easy answers for that. I suppose the moral is, for both sexes: don't marry someone you don't know really, really well.
by CaptainHarley adores his life penguin on June 21st, 2009
@Sunshine - Life is full of "What if's" heck thats how you are taught to ride motorcycles always saying "What if..." it works great in life to question that to avoid problems later on. Hence why I agree with CaptainHarley, you should marry someone you know and trust.

my ex woman stayed home all day, required jacob go to daycare and I still came home to a messy house and no cooked meals. I was considered an unappreciative lout the one day per month she spent 4 hours cleaning because I did not grovel in gratitude. the best thing she ever did for me was run away. it made keeping my home in order a little easier and made keeping my bank account go from impossible to keep in hte black to I still have $1000 left from my tax returns and have rent and utilities paid up through the next 4 months.
