Maybe we need a "Form" for U guys??? This is "Close", but still "No Cigar"! I think, not sure, but didn't Chevy offer this truck in a "Manual & Automatic Transmission"??? Now which one used to make the "Humming Sound" cause it didn't know the "Words to the Song"??? Please people, U were so close, but we JUST CAN'T READ MINDS!!! What U tell Us can apply to BOTH!!! An Automatic could have lost the converter, pump, clutch disks or just be out of fluid??? A Manual could be losing a clutch disk or pressure plate??? Same results, TOTALLY DIFFERENT MACHINES...HELP US HELP U, K??? John

You're reading Why want my 1993 chevrolet S-10 pickup move when put into first gear. I noticed a humming sound when driving at a speed of 70 mph and then I lost speed. When I came to a complete stop the truck would not move when put into gear.
