Had the same problem! Has to to with the fact you pushed too hard on the pedals when practicing. I tryed many times to screw them in, but in the end I had to use a hammer.
The problem is that the screwing-line (the thing on the pedal that is all twirled) is busted and it wont stick in. If it's too busted, you will have to change the shaft.

If broken, buy new & use "Locktite" thread locker "Red" applied in hole & on threads. John
