Tithing monies are used for building chapels, temples, maintaining said
buildings, and other such expenses. If a family needs financial assistance,
Fast Offerings are used for that purpose. That is why young men go to the
homes each first Sunday of the month and collect Fast Offerings. It is to
    help those in need.
