Based upon your perceptions as a finite person of flesh and blood, you may feel that way. But even upon being born again into God's kingdom, specifically by being filled with His Spirit in a very real and demonstrable way, as the apostles and followers of Jesus Christ were in the book of Acts, your mind is renewed in His Spirit, regenerated, and you take on quite a godly view of life (see Acts 2:1-4, 2:38, Colossians 3:10). In fact, you'll find your understanding of scripture awakened, simply because the same Spirit of God that fills a person's soul was the inspiration for His Word (II Peter 1:21).

With that said, even your perception of happiness will change. In fact, Jesus said that there is no marriage nor giving of marriage in heaven, but that His saved church will be "like the angels" (Matthew 22:30). You may exist in a state beyond your limitations here, including gender.

I hope this makes sense. If you would like further details, simply comment on this, and I'll be happy to share more scriptures.

    • It does not exactly say there will be no marriage. Please read my answer or a few references.
