Depends on the kind of duck. My ducks won't touch bread, and they love worms and bugs. They eat snails and slugs, and love lettuce. I feed them cracked corn, and commercial feed. It cannot have any medication in it, or it will kill them. I saw one eat a salamander type thing (couldn't see it well), and I think they eat fish and tadpoles. The small fish and tadpoles have been disappearing in the creek where they swim.
