What race or species is Samir Duran of StarCraft?

    Accually if you play Brood Wars and beat mission 9 of the zerg campaign you can unlock a secret mission in which you find Duran on a moon where he is creating zerg/protoss hybrids. When he is confronted he proceeds to tell you who he is. He says that he has lived a millenia and that Zeratul is a young protogy and Kerrigan in still an infant. He then goes on to say that he serves "a greater power." This leads us to believe that he is infact a member of the race known as the Xel'Naga, the creators of the Zerg and Protoss. He was able to infiltrate not only the human forces but was also able to act infested to get the trust of the Kerrigan, The Queen of Blades.

    • Actually it does not say he is a member of the Xel'Naga it implies that he is working for them.
      The Xel'Naga race is actually in Starcraft 2 but it is not a race you can play with.
