Should I take my almost 3 year old to the movie Wall-E? He has never been before, and he really would like to go, but I don't know. Have any other moms taken their kids? What did you think of it?

Do like my wife and I do:

Go see the movie for yourself. If you wouldn't let them see it at home on TV, then you shouldn't take them to it.

Even if it's totally kid friendly, you are the deciding factor. I can't make that decision for you.

Thank you. I guess what I was asking was in ref to his age at the theater. Did you or do you take your almost 3 year old to the theater? I don't want to have him be the only really young child there...

Yes, my wife and I have taken our children to theaters at that age, even younger.
If the child is capable of quietly watching the movie for that long, there is nothing wrong with it. A good judge of this is his ability to sit through movie length DVD at home. If he can do this, he won't be a problem.
