Question

Help answer this question below.

Has anyone ever passed out when they were in labor? I'm talking about the woman, I know men pass out sometimes too! LOL But, if you did, what would happen? Do they have to put you in an emergency ceserian or do they let your body take it's time?

I wouldn't say it's common, but it CAN happen. And when you faint, it's not typically a long-term thing. You aren't in a coma, so no, they wouldn't rush you off to surgery. Basically, the pain of labor would wake you right back up again. You do keep having contractions, and the baby does keep on working it's way out, even if you aren't actively pushing (IE: if you pass out), so it's really not an issue.
