Suicidal tendancies, as an aspect of mental health and mental health afflications, such as depression, schizophrenia, borderline personality, manic depressive etc can run in in families.
Suicide itself is just an act and if it is found as a pattern within a family, it is likely because there is a commonly inherited mental health issue or chemical imbalance.
If you think suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, then what do you say when somebody has a permanent problem?
