If it is a matter of safety and the person in the minivan had no choice, then I'd accept the responsibility of following too close..since I can never see around vehicles that are large, I would have no way of knowing until I investigated the cause. If the person seemingly had no valid reason for doing that, I'd probably be angry because of course it would be my fault and whatever consequences followed would be on my side of the fence..maybe insurance rate would go up. I'd be very unhappy! :)

Ever seen a REALLY ugly 'road-rage' incident ? I have, where a guy was killed ,due to being forced into an opposite lane.
