Is a clone actually identical to the original, or will variations in cell growth and random environmentally caused damage make each new clone slightly different?

I can see some difference just due to enviornmental factors. Amount of sunlight each is subjected to, exact diet of each, general climate differences, i.e. Arizonia desert vs New England seashore, etc. I would suspect the differences would magnify with each clone of a clone something like a computer scanner/photocopied copy of a picture, slight changes each time until there is a easily recognized difference.
