  • Do we really need an excuse to double fist some brews, bud? But this would be great for that. Plus, when used properly, it can double as an effective ninja weapon.

(Oh yeah, you just went to my profile.)

    • That's some excellently evolved drink ware! :D
Did you find or create that image?

    • Thanks. I did put the image together; but, I can't take credit for the idea (Cyndi thought of it). : )

    • Actually it's Brian's brain child ;)

    • Oh. Cool. : )
Thanks, Brian. That was a cool concept.

    • Thanks, Cyndi and 10sEn. :)
      .
I came up with Nunchuckalug mug but whose idea was it to chain two mugs together so that they actually form a 2-mug nunchuck?

    • You are both brilliant :) And I'm glad to finally run into you two :)

    • I'm not sure whose idea it was to link to the two mugs together. When Cyndi first mentioned it to us, she talked about it as if it could double as a ninja weapon, so I naturally saw two mugs linked together like a pair of nunchaku (nunchaks). The name helped too (nunchuckalug mug). When I was creating this image, I went with the way I pictured it in my head. Initially, I had pictured coffee mugs, but then thought it would be a better weapon if it were more streamlined.
      .
So, that wasn't what you had in mind?

    • Thanks, Cyndi. :)
It's great to see that you have some time to spend with us!
How are you and your family?

    • Great! I've had a busy week and just got back from a horse clinic (the kind that you go to to improve your riding) and Joe and I are going to a concert tomorrow. Have you and Vicky settled in since returning from DC?

    • "When Cyndi first mentioned it to us, she talked about it as if it could double as a ninja weapon, so I naturally saw two mugs linked together like a pair of nunchaku (nunchaks)."
      .
Then it was the three of us. Cyndi conceived the application of my words and you designed the nunchuckalug mugs.
      .
"So, that wasn't what you had in mind?"
      .
Actually I didn't have anything in mind regarding the image until I saw the excellent culmination of your collaboration with Cyndi. :p
All I came up with was the term "Nunchuckalug mug".

      .
I'm certainly glad to read that it's been great for you!
How has your riding improved? Does Rosie have any improving to do or is this all on your back for a change? ;)
      .
What concert are you going to?
      .
Yep, Little V and I are settled in and enjoying some wonderfully mild weather for now.
We've only had about 1 day over 90º (with very little humidity) in the 3 weeks that we've been back. :)

      So true. :)
What he may have actually designed is a Nunchuckalug mugs nunchuck. :p

Rosie has some work to do, but most of it is on my back :p

    • Brian, I guess that could be the nunchuckalug mugs nunchuck. : )
But what is the nunchuckalug mug? ; )
      .
      Cyndi, I agree. That's quite the tongue-twister. : )

    • "But what is the nunchuckalug mug? ; )"
      .
If I remember the context of the chat that I had with Cyndi about this correctly, I think we were wondering about from what container a Ninja would drink their BFIA or Global Cooler.
      .
I just thought of Nunchuckalug mug because of its poetic goofiness.
      .
I guess a nunchuckalug mug could be a 1 mug nunchuck, i.e. a mug chained to a baton, so that a thirsty but busy Ninja could alternate between kicking ass and slaking thirst. :P

(I have some Mardi Gras beads that have a cup on them. That's what the picture is.)

    • Ooh, those would be great for our ninja parties.
@Brian, I'm going to a Live, Collective Soul and Blues Traveler concert :)
