During World War II The allies smuggled out of Germany microfilm, by placing the microfilm in the buttons of their uniforms. They were found out. They changed the buttons, allies spys never caught after that. How did the allies change the buttons?

    They just reversed the threads, i.e., instead of turning the button left to unbutton, they changed it to right, or the tighten direction.
