Is it true once you google an idea to see if the name is taken ex: a book title, it's trademarked right away and then you can't use it?

    Nope. Once you write/make something you own the copywrite and trademark. As long as you can prove that your book isn't copied, you're fine.

    • My uncle said you should never search for a title because then it shows whoever there's interest and it's instantly trademarked. He's also drunk 20 out of 24 hours of the day so who knows.
