Tailgate parties in the parking lots both before, and after, the game are essential for the enjoyment of any NFL football competition:
    1) Make someone the designated driver
    2) For everyone else, bring lots of alcohol
    3) Bring a portable, gas barbecue and at least five or six hotdogs and/or sausages for each person - don't forget the buns
4)Come at least 2 hours early to avoid the traffic jam
    During the game:
1)Dress in the colours of the team that you are supporting
2)Make sure that you bring something soft to sit on and a raincoat if it looks like inclement weather - in the winter, wear several layers of warm clothing (it can get very cold if the stadium does not have a roof)

Before you leave the house, double-check to make sure that you have the tickets(unless you intend to buy some from scalpers).

Try not to get into any fistfights.

You should be all set :-)

    • I was mainly concerned about preparations which you've somewhat covered. Thanks for actually answering though!
