So now it seems Yahoo is actively pursing Google to avoid Microsoft. Good idea? Bad idea?

I wish they didn't have to partner with either one, but I understand the economics of it.

I think Google will prove a better long term partner.

Have you read Yahoo's updated privacy policy? There's some mumbo jumbo about advertising. Advertising is why they save searches and more.
