Well I can understand that it's not really an emergency and that they have more urgent things to deal with, but they could have been more polite. Et aussi, il y a ton histoire avec ta voiture. :(

Whoa, they really said that? Down here, it is an emergency. They send fire and pd, if there are no civilians if there is no one in direct danger, to block off the roads. Then they get a hold of the utility company to cut the power.

That's pretty bad attitude on their part. You might have made a mistake, but it was an an honest and understandable mistake. Downed power lines are an emergency, after all, especially if the juice is still flowing in them.
