As you pass somebody (like in a theater or airplane) is it more appropriate to do so with your rear or front side?

    I believe you should pass with your rear facing the person you are passing, firstly for sexual tension reasons, second like said before in case you trip, as you are more likely not to land on the person you are passing. I always look at the persons face and say excuse me before i pass, excusing my self for invading their personal space and for having to look at my back.

    • Exactly! That way you can better hold onto chairback to get you thru there faster, otherwise you'll fall forward onto people
