Because He gave us the freedom to choose, and we chose to wilfully disobey His commandment. That introduced sin into our lives, and it has been in our lives ever since.

I know this is short and concise, but I hope it helps.

    • Please refer to the term "witch" as a title rather than a noun, and you are doling out low ratings on your opinion as well.

    • TD rightfully gives low ratings to non Christians trying to answer Christian questions in a Christian Q&A

    • Boo, Hiss on an attitude that non-Christians can't answer a Christian question. Sometimes outsiders are the best way to rectify fuzzy thinking.
This whole argument of free will is faulty. Surely you can't believe every bad decision we make we "choose" to make. If that's so, why are some people fat? because they "choose" to be? Please. It's much more complex than that, and brain research is investigating how our "decisions" may be made for us, so to speak, in the brain's activities before our conscious "decision" is enacted.
Simplistic Christian answers like this are not helpful and are often misleading.

    • Oh, and "short and concise" is redundant.
