Assuming that people have souls, where do souls come from?

    The question as framed is rather unanswerable. It is like saying, assuming the Tooth Fairy is real, where does he (or she) come from?

    I'll try anyway. Your soul comes from your mind's belief in a soul. When your mind stops working (when you die as you will one day), I believe your "soul" will also die, although I could not prove it to you if you didn't believe me.
