Why do people try to say GOD wrote the Bible?(you can get offended, but it's ink and paper I don't think GOD would ever have written something that is supposed to be so valuable on something so expendable.)

In a world of uncertainty and mistrust, it is comforting to some to be able to regard a particular book or books as being unassailable truth, having been directly "written by God".

The fact that all known religious texts have been translated and re-edited over the years must be a very uncomfortable thing for such people, as must be the fact that there are so many such texts believed in by different groups, yet (presumably) only one God.

    • Helps to prove that god doesn't exist,
      it's only an outdated concept!
