I'm actually wondering because I'm getting an IUD inserted on Tuesday, and my doctor told me to take 600mg ibuprofen, which will dull the pain a little. But I was just wondering if there were any thing else that might help.

600 mg of ibuprofen is TERRIBLE for you.... DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR!!! try taking something that will relax your muscles, and definately get some of those enzymes i said. please don't take that much ibuprofen it is really terrible for your body, and if you'd like to keep your liver i suggest trying it my way. go to your nearest healthfood store (NOT A GNC) and ask them for help

lol, I know ibuprofen is horrible for you, that's why I'm asking =P I usually go to the apothecary but they don't always know... especially if it's one of the apprentices who I'm talking to. I was thinking that maybe cayenne pepper might help, because it has the effect of numbing pain when you eat it. But thank you for your help ^_^
