Has the legal age limit to buy cigarettes in the US changed from 18 y/o to 21 y/o? 2 people told me it did, but I haven't heard anythign about it.

    The correct answer is 18 on your 18th bithdate you become legal to sign for Selective Service (Draft), Obtain the Right to Vote, Under staet and Federal Law you are now considered the status of a "Adult" and it now your duty and obligation to understand and abide by ny set laws state or federal and yes in short you are now legal to buy the drug called "cigarettes" I hope this helps.

    • its still 18 however, when i turned 21, i wasnt allowed to by alcohol until the day after my birthday. im not sure if it was just the store i went to or the law, also not sure if thats how it is with ciggarettes.
