Do Mormons ever date people of other religious affiliations?

    It depends on the guy and the situation. If you live in an area that has few Mormons, then it is more likely than if there are a lot of Mormons. Also, you would possibly need to signal you interest in him. However, I would not count on a long term relationship unless you join the Church. We are encouraged from a very young age to not look for mates outside of the Church. I also would not encourage you to join the Church just to please him. Religion is too important a matter to take so lightly. Only join a church (any church) because you believe the things it teaches.

    Note that Alatea gives me a bad rating even when agreeing with me. BTW, the number of children each couple has is entirely up to them. The Church doesn't dictate numbers other than to say that you should only have as many as you can take care of.
