What is a good beer for a beginner drinker who hates the bitter taste?

    I was in the same boat. I liked beer, but didn't like the bitter part. So, I drank beer over ice with lemon in it. Actually quite refreshing. Start with a Corona, Red Stripe or other relatively "lite" beer and go from there.

    If you like Ginger Beer (which is a non-alcoholic carbonated ginger based beverage), try mixing Ginger Beer and a regular beer (Red Stripe works quite nicely). Very tasty.

    • I was going to suggest Corona with a lime in it. It makes for a smoother taste.
