In the short run SSJ4 Goku would easily win because of the fact the he is that much stronger then Broly. But in the long run, if Broly wasn't killed right away he could easily gain the upper hand because remember he is the once in a millenia legendary super saiyan. After SSJ he turns into LSSJ(Legendary Super Saiyan) and not SSJ2 because since he is the legendary SSJ he has his own form of SSJ powers which no other Super Saiyan can attain. Unlike Goku, Broly doesn't tire out and his power constantly increases as he fights. So hypothetically if Goku did not finish him off early, Broly could eventually reach the power of SSJ4 since his power only increases and does not and will not decrease and Goku would also eventually tire out as we've seen him do before.
