Love is when you want the best for the other person. You do what you can to
make it possible. Lust is getting what you want out of the other person. One
is outwardly focused. The other is focused inwardly. Both usually involve
sexual gratification, but love is making sure the other person gets it, too.

    • This is the best answer of the whole bunch. Thanks!!

    • Most loving relationships do not involve sexual gratification: toward parents, siblings, children, best friends, etc...

    • But what happens when you do what you can to make it possible, but never get anything (i.e. the love you need back) in return?
