You're reading Does smoking Clove cigarettes cause the lungs to bleed?

I don't care what that article says, I have been a mild clove smoker over the last 4 months and I probably smoke about 4 a week, mind you I don't smoke cigarettes at all just cloves or kreteks and pipe (which I don't breath in). So that being said Clove cigs are the only thing I ever inhale, I smoked a couple the other day and this morning I get up and my mouth tastes strange so I go to the sink and start spitting and it is blood and this black junk, so I dunno if I should be worried that I have cancer now or what, but one thing is for sure, cloves are bad, and I'm never smoking them again and neither should you, the smoke is especially sticky and it sticks to the walls of your lungs as I am told and then all the other junk you breath in also sticks to your lungs as well,so inshort they are death on a stick. (no exaggeration)

well, I've been smoking cloves heavily for 13 years... started @ 15 now 28... and have coughed up something 1 time and that was like 8 years ago... the rest of the time, I'm fine... I think that everything is harmful to you so you might as well enjoy yourself... I lived in DE, home of DuPont chemicals and the quality of air is really, really like inhaling ammonia all day every day... so cloves are the last thing on my mind about health...
