Insurance question: I backed into a pole (crappy day), how does one typically go about submitting such a claim for insurance? Do you pay them your deductable and then they pay the shop? Is it usually worth getting them involved, or cheaper for you to pay?

I would find out how much repair is compared to your deductible and then decide of your insurance going up is worth it as well. Because when you make a claim your insurance goes up.
