Would you date/marry/bear children to a man who has been to prison?

I am all ready married, so probably not. However, I have a female friend who married someone who had been in prison. He was a childhood friend of mine, and a great person who made a big mistake. They are very happy and have a beautiful child now.

There are concerns about prisoners contracting AIDS... it's a major epidemic in prisons. That would be cause for pause.
