one more things I would like to say : live in this moment, dont dwelve in past and dont worry about future, just live in this moment, give your 100% to this moment, you will definatel feel better. of course that doesnt meant that you should not plan for future, but just that you are trying to justify this moment with happiness, which makes you feel good at the end of the day.
why said so : because when you use the word "expectation" that means you are thinking about future, (what will happen, how its goin to be), but dont let that thinking come.
    just live in present.
of course if you are in relationship with someone, you tend to get hurt often because of your expectations, but instead of that, just make them feel that you are giving best possible of yours to him/her, that means you are being genuine in relationship and you never have guilt feelings or unhapiness, and also learn to let the thigns go, better things are awaiting for you.
