Any ideas for hamster names?? [boy or girl]

    I had the sweetest hamster in the world once. I got it from my neighbor's whose hammys had had a bunch of babies.

    I named "her" Heidi. But, over a few weeks, Heidi began to develop in ways I hadn't anticipated...and so became HOMER! He lived 4+ years and then I had to have him put to sleep because his kidneys were failing...the Vet said that was the longest she had ever known a Hamster to live...he was best friends with my bird, never ever bit anyone, and used to give me kisses.

    Other possible names:
    Manny, Fred, Goober, Hershall, Jet, Sam, Furbee

    Salsa, Tango, Cha Cha, Wilma, Mildred, Amber, Fawnie, Bitty, or BittyBop, and the list goes on and on..

    I'd say study and watch your's and see if it doesn't have some sort of behavior that leans towards an interesting name...then too, unless you already know for sure what the gender is..you may get a surprise too!

    • Hmm..boy or girl eh? I say if it's a boy you should name him Tank. If it's a girl, name her Botfly. Just go with it, it makes sense if you don't think about it!
