If I really had nothing better to do I would have issued a warning or a "fix-it-ticket". Some of our laws are just getting ridiculous. "Land of the free" my ass!

    • I thought we "Illuminated Things" we wanted seen for "Safety" on the Roadways??? So If an "Officer" sees me broken down, pulls over & gives me a ticket for my "Road Flare" being "Too Bright" how could I possible prove they weren't??? Isn't he playing "Judge & Jury" Without having the means (Spectrum Analyzer etc.) to Prove his point??? If U think U need to be seen by putting "Blue Under Carriage" lights on Ur car to save Ur Life, who has the "UNCONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT" to DENY U Ur "CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO PURSUE LIFE, LIBERTY & HAPPINESS"??? BAD STOP, good Answer Tempter. And as a Cop, if U have to ASK US, I really don't want U out there trying to "Protect, Defend & Serve" the Public as U SWORE to do because apparently U have Failed to Form Norms & Standards in the Right Lobe of Ur Soul!!! Find another Occupation. John

    • Moosemose, blue undercarriage lights do not in any way save your life and I don't need any type of meter if I can articulate a reason I believe something is a violation of law or a danger to public safety. It is not playing "Judge & Jury" to write a citation for a violation of the law. You are not convicted at the time of issuance you get your day in court with a...umm...oh yeah judge and jury. We let them play "Judge & Jury". John is a very knowledgeable and articulate officer and as far as I'm concerned he can patrol my street any day. As to the stop it was a very good stop.
