I'm gay but my best friend is straight, and I like/love him, what should I do?

    I am not gay, but I have many gay friends. If one expressed his love for me, I would be flattered. Then ask him to sit down and discuss the situation with him. I would explain, I really appreciate his open feelings and kindly tell him I am more than happy to just remain great friends ... No big deal!

    • This had been my problem for almost a year now. I'm so in love with my best friend because we live together with his family. We are like brothers. We are always together in school, house and even hang outs with our friends and lovers. It's not easy but I honestly told him everything about my feelings. He accepted it, but I'm not sure if its the same way you accepted it.

      I'm now living far away from him. Starting new life, new friends and new place, hoping that one day I will totally forget him because that's the only way I think I can help my self to totally get over with him.

      It hurts me so much that I lost my best friend and we can't love each other like other straight couple do.But that's life I have to live with it!
