When someone hit me to wake me up, how is it that I saw someone swing something at me in my dream right before I woke up?

    After you were hit, the vision of someone swinging came into your mind, however you recall it happening before. Because dreams are often considered to be outside of the realm of time, our minds can play tricks on us changing the order of events.
