I am non-denomiantional , my husband and I married a couple of years ago, He was raised Church of Christ, and has been in Baptist church for a decade, but doesn't understand why or how I believe it is ok for a woman to preach, Can you please explain?

You're reading I've just found out that I'm to be shipped off to some Christian summer camp for a week this summer: Do you think their claims to be "Respectful" can be trusted, or should I (a young atheist) expect a week of agonizingly heavy preaching?

Aye, it does really depend on the camp. You might have a bit more experience drawing a bead on their intentions that I, whaddya reckon for the preachy-quotient on this bunch?

The thing that freaked me out a bit from the get-go was the (hopefully coincidental) fact that they're operating out the same place in Oregon where that Rajneeshee cult had their combound back in the '80s.
