Here is the text of my answer:
You may be short-sighted. If you use a computer monitor a lot, as part of your job for instance, or if you do a lot of concentrated close-up work, your eyes may be working harder to compensate for a slight astigmatism. Also, if you are not getting enough sleep at night, and if you are not resting your eyes enough during the day, this will exacerbate the problem.
The best thing to do is to go and see an eye-care specialist and find out if you need to wear glasses. I had similar eye spasms (though they didn't last for days) which completely went away when I started to wear glasses for reading and computer work. So although I am slightly short-sighted, my eyes benefited from the extra help that glasses provide even when doing close-up work.
If you do use a computer, but don't think you need glasses, there are things you can do to help your eyes. Remember to take regular breaks - the classic advice is to follow the 20-20-20 rule, whereby you stop every 20 minutes and look at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Also try lowering your screen resolution. Unless you are using specialist software that requires a high resolution, set your monitor to no more than 1024x768 (you might also try 800x600 if your eyes are feeling especially tired).
I've made a lot of assumptions about your lifestyle here, but I hope that at least some of this helps.

Lol, your answer proved hubby correct. I am slightly near sighted and have a slight astimagtism. I have glasses, but never wear them as I can see without them. More and more I notice my eye twitching...I guess hubby was correct, I SHOULD be wearing my glasses even if I CAN see without them :)
