Help answer this question below.

My dad threw our new born kitten into the fireplace while the fire was going, the kitten died of course, what should I do about my dad?

    Okay lets look at the facts. Thousands of animals are killed every year so we can eat. In all those thousands you can't tell me with any amount of credible certainty that NONE of them suffered. We talk about how much looks shouldn't or don't matter yet these animals die most likely due to the one fact that MOST people don't consider them cute. If we're going to go nuts about one kitten let's also go nuts about all the others. Granted we can't eat them but it is necessary to eat as much meat as we do? Also, exactly how much of the meat can even be considered "meat" by the time it touches our lips? I'm not an advocate of animal cruelty but not near enough people see the TRUTH of how hypocritical they really are.

    • I'm not sure how any of this means that what her father did isn't abusive to her and cruelty to the cat. In fact, it doesn't seem to really address her question at all.

    • AntigoneRising, you are almost completelty right. I did let my own biase get in the way of acutally answering the question to the best of my ability. The only reason I say almost is becuase my answer VAUGELY answers the question.
