Will drinking lemon juice everyday help me lose weight and will doing so have any ill side effects?

    Drinking lemon juice will not harm you, drink as much as you like. As for losing weight, drinking lemon juice alone will not help at all. Fruit juice is a part of a good diet plan but I am sure you could find a better flavour than lemon. To reduce your mass, you need to do more than just drink lemon juice. You need to reduce your total caloric intake. Eat more fruits and veggies, less meat and limit your alcohol consumption to 1 or two servings a week.

    • Lemon juice IS VERY BAD for teeth, especially if one were to drink it daily.

    • Use a straw to drink lemon juice, because it is true if it comes into contact with your teeth alot it will eat away at enamel. As to the comment about eating less meat, I would agree in terms of pork and red meat. Skinless chicken, especially white meat, is pretty much nothing but pure protein. As long as you are not cutting out carbs, lots of pure protein is perfectly safe. It helps fill you up and sustains energy ALOT better than simple carbs. Make your carbs complex (high fiber, whole wheat, whole grain, etc) and you are doing yourself a favor.
