You're assuming the light is being drawn into the black hole in a linear path directly to the center of the black hole. A black hole draws in its prey in a rotational direction, which would allow for light to be captured by a black hole without ever having exceeded the speed of light. Think of one of those large funnels that you drop coins into. They roll in a smaller and smaller circle until they reach the middle of the funnel where they fall into the chute, but they never have to increase in speed to get to the center.

Schodinger was never mentioned in this answer. And, people often take many of the things he proposed as hard science, especially the Schordinger's Cat thought experiment. In reality, Schrodinger proposed that experiment as an example of the absurdities present at the time in quantum mechanics.
