Ok, Epi's are made in China, they have "glued up mahogony bodies, they also have chinese made electronics and pickups. Only the most expensive Epi has Gibson pickups and still has a glued up body. Les Paul ,when alive, switched to Epi a long time ago. Around the 1940's. Gibson has owned the rights to the "les paul" since before the trade in camps. Most Epi's either bear the name Les paul or Gibson . Here's a pic of the Junior.
